Expertek Systems was founded 20 years ago by Ken Mostello and Paul Sorrento. These two have led the way in growing the company into one of the largest independent resellers of distribution business software in New England.
Ken Mostello has served as Expertek’s chief executive officer for 20 years, keeping the company focused on its mission to “engineer and market innovative software products that enable our clients to improve their productivity and gain a competitive edge in their markets.” During that time, Ken forged partnerships with companies like Microsoft and Infor Global Solutions, formerly NxTrend Technologies, and oversaw development of the Company’s software offerings in labor management, electronic commerce and transportation logistics.
Prior to founding Expertek, Ken was a vice president at CEG Systems, where he had responsibility for launching that company’s labor scheduling software product. Ken also served as a senior business consultant with the Consulting division within Arthur Andersen & Company during the early 1980’s before that division became an independent firm known today as Accenture.
Ken graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science and holds a Masters in Computer Science, both from the Boston College Carroll School of Management.
Paul Sorrento, co-founder and Vice President of Expertek Systems, Inc. brings more than 25 years of experience in supply chain management systems. Paul’s primary responsibilities are sales and project management and has worked with well over 100 companies from startup to fortune 1000 customers in a variety of different areas including finance, order processing, inventory control, e-commerce, analytics and warehouse management. Paul was influential in helping establish Expertek’s three supply chain add on products, CommerceLink, MobileWorks and RoadWizard.
Prior to founding Expertek, Paul spent five years with CEG Systems as a senior business consultant specializing in supply chain management systems.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an Masters of Business Administration from Babson College.
